DARBY'S DAY

15th October

In honour of our namesake, Earl ‘Darby’ Gill, and his birthday, we are going BIG for our Sunday Session on the 15th October. Darby was a trumpet player and bandleader, a regular on the irish jazz scene who toured the US in the 50s and 60s. That was his time and a bloody good time he had too!  On the 15th October we are bringing that good time back. We’ll have Nils Solberg and Ben Cummings with a live jazz trumpet tribute to Darby. 

Alongside our much loved Sunday lunch menu, we will also be serving a selection of Darby’s favourite dishes including beef and Guinness pie, dressed crab, grilled lobster cocktail and West Coast Irish oysters.
